Singer, Actress, Charity Shoe Designer

Kristin discussed her newest philanthropic effort – shoe designer -  in an interview with Todd Michael Krim of Reality Cares Radio last week.  In collaboration with Kim Kardashian’s company, Shoe Dazzle, Kristin will be designing a limited edition charity shoe to benefit The Adoption Institute.  It goes on sale this Fall, so keep a look out!

Kristin talked at length about being adopted herself, and how that influences her work with adoption charities today.  Other charities Kristin works with include:  Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Susan G. Komen for the CUre, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adotion, and more.  Her own charity, Maddie’s Corner [named after her dog, Maddie] raises money for no-kill shelters and places needy dogs in forever homes.
